| Abstract | Segregation of the mutant gene fcb was observed in the products of meiosis of 2 dikaryons. The phenotype fcb is only expressed in monokaryons of the same B incompatibility allele as the parental fcb monokaryon. The deleterious effect and the inheritance properties of the fcb phenotype may provide some prospect of biological control of the pathogen on barley. |
