Logistics Office


The Logistics Office's cross-disciplinary activities within the CRA-W help to provide support to those of the other units.
It includes the Buildings, Equipment and Environment Service and its technical team, the Purchasing Service, the Farm Management Service, as well as the centralised warehouse.
It supervises the cleaners and janitors.

Buildings, Equipment and Environment Service


Technical and administrative management of services, supplies and construction work, maintenance and renovation of buildings and technical equipment for the CRA-W.

Environmental management using environmental permits, ensuring that CRA-W buildings comply with environmental standards and reducing the environmental and energy impact of activities, including the management and maintenance of green areas and areas around buildings.

Collecting, managing and controlling data relating to the above-mentioned items.

Close cooperation with the IPPS.

Purchasing common supplies and services in general and at central level via a warehouse.

Experimental Area Management Service


Overseeing the CRA-W's experimental Area Management at the Gembloux, Libramont and Mussy-la-Ville sites, and carrying out experiments there in consultation and cooperation with the CRA-W's scientific teams. This applies to cultivated areas, machinery and farm buildings. It is responsible for their administrative and regulatory management in its capacity as an agricultural producer.
