Abstract | Further laboratory studies in Belgium on the factors influencing the infectivity of Erynia neoaphidis to Acyrthosiphon pisum showed that alates were about 6 times as susceptible as apterae to the fungus. A significant difference was observed between the LC50s of the nymphs of the alates, the nymphs of the apterae and the adult alates. The susceptibility of the alate adults varied with age, the adults 3-4 days old being more resistant to infection than were those of up to 1 day or 6-7 days old. |
