In order to coordinate the secretariat and the activities of the Community Reference Laboratory (CRL) for the detection of animal proteins in feedingstuffs, the Department Quality of Agricultural Products of the Walloon Agricultural Research Centre (CRA-W) is opening a position for an Agronomy Engineer, Chemistry Engineer, Veterinary, Dr Ir in Agronomy sciences or Dr Ir in Chemistry or equivalent.

Profil recherché

Diplôme :

Diploma of Agronomy Engineer, Chemistry Engineer, Veterinary, Dr Ir in Agronomy or Dr Ir in Chemistry.

Langues :

English: very good writing and speaking knowledge are required
French and Dutch: good knowledge is an advantage
The knowledge of any other EU language is an advantage.

Expérience :

To have an experience of at least 4 years in Research projects

Connaissances spécifiques :

- Skill to write scientific papers and reports
- Skill to conduct research program and to deliver report (administrative, scientific and financial reports)
- Skill in the development of analytical methods
- Skill in the establishment of quality system (e.g. ISO 17025, ISO 9001)
- Skill in the organization of ring trials is an advantage
- Ability to work in an international context
- Knowledge and experience in the feed sector is an advantage
- High flexibility required

Additional requirements :

The candidate will be in charge of the coordination of the secretariat and the activities of the CRL. One the main task of the candidate will be the organisation of ring trials or validation trials. The candidate will be in frequent contact with other European Institutions.

To be ready to travel and to work occasionally during the week-end and outside the usual working periods.
