Objectives

This program offers a structured introduction to the main techniques of near-infrared (NIR), mid-infrared (MIR), and Raman spectroscopy. It touches also on hyperspectral imagery, portable instruments, best practices for sampling, the methods of chimiometry, and machine learning to extrapolate and interpret information.
Troughout the sessions, you will discover how to transform a spectral measure into a exploitable data: selection of pre-treatments, data exploration, construction of classification or prediction models, performance evaluation, and calibration transfer strategies.

This training is intended for researchers, technicians and professionals wishing to discover or deepen their skills in spectroscopy and chimiometry.
It is particularly pertinent for the actors of the agricultural and agrifood sector, quality control and any person using or developping indirect analytical methods with chemistry or natural sciences.
